The late Louise Nevelson, one of the nation’s most celebrated sculptors, is represented on our website by two characteristic black wooden sculptures. Featured in the gallery exhibition “Master Works 1969-1984,” Nevelson’s seven-foot 1984 “Moon Zag IV” features two articulated doors, while the “Open Zag VIII” is an assemblage with an unusual composition of two asymetrical semi-circular elements. Also available are other works by Nevelson in lead and paper.
