Louise NevelsonThe late Louise Nevelson, one of the nation’s most celebrated sculptors, is represented on our website by two characteristic black wooden sculptures. Featured in the gallery exhibition “Master Works 1969-1984,” Nevelson’s seven-foot 1984 “Moon Zag IV” features two articulated doors, while the “Open Zag VIII” is an assemblage with an unusual composition of two asymetrical semi-circular elements. Also available are other works by Nevelson in lead and paper.
