Anatolij Shuravlev at Art Miami 2003

More than a hundred miniscule photographs, each mounted on a dangling clear acrylic sphere the size of a ping-pong ball, were featured in the gallery’s exhibition of photos by Russian artist Anatolij Shuravlev in “Currents,” Art Miami’s section of cutting-edge works. The exhibit was the artist’s first one-person show in the Southeastern U.S. and his first at an art fair in this country.
